Multipliers Leadership Workshop

Facilitator: Andy Buyting, Carle Ventures

The Multipliers Concept

The book; Multipliers; How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter is the result of the research that authors Liz Wiseman and Greg McKeown conducted as they studied over 150 different leaders around the world. The term “Multipliers” refers to those leaders who use their intelligence to amplify the smarts and capabilities of those around them. On the other side are “Diminishers”, those leaders to drain intelligence, energy and the capability of those who follow them.

In their research, Wiseman and McKeown found five disciplines that differentiate Multipliers from Diminishers. They describe the five disciplines as; the Talent Magnet, the Liberator, the Challenger, the Debate Maker and the Investor.

Facilitated Multipliers Leadership Workshop

The 3-hour Multipliers Leadership Workshop is designed to introduce the Multipliers concept (vs Diminishers), present the five disciplines in detail, learn from real life examples, and facilitate team (& group) discussions around each of the disciplines.

Attendees will gain a full understanding of the five disciplines and will leave the session with an action plan on how they are going to implement the Multipliers concepts within their own leadership practices.

As part of the workshop, participants will receive the following:

  • The Multipliers worksheets and commitment forms.
  • A PDF copy of the getAbstract book summary.
  • And an invitation to take the online free “Accidental Diminisher Quiz”
